The Ministry of Industry continues to encourage the children’s toy industry in the country to increase product innovation so that it can be competitive with imported products. Moreover, Indonesia as a large market is an opportunity for the development of the children’s toy industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We are trying to improve the performance of the children’s toy industry so that it can make a significant contribution to the national economy,” said Minister of Industry Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita in Jakarta, Wednesday (16\/6).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Minister of Industry stated, the performance of the national children’s toy industry showed a positive trend. This is reflected in the achievement of its export value which has increased over the last three years. Shipments of children’s toy products exceeded USD 320 million in 2018, soaring to USD 343 in 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Our potential is 131 children’s toy business units on a medium and large industrial scale. Of these business units, more than 36 thousand people have been employed. This means that this labor-intensive sector includes themes that have an export orientation,” he explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Minister of Industry expressed his appreciation for the launch of the Bima S toy as the work of the nation’s children to be proud of. “With the launching of Bima S toys, we hope to further stimulate the performance of the national children’s toy industry,” he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
